The Rise of Mark4 My Journey to Success!

Mark4’s journey to becoming India’s number one platform for pre-owned cars started with a physical presence. It all started for me in 2010 after completing higher secondary education, when I began working as a sales executive at a car showroom in Malappuram. Through hard work and learning the business, I gained valuable experience and a deep understanding of what customers wanted.

In 2013, I took on a corporate role as a regional manager at Car Trade, where I continued to build my knowledge in the automotive industry. By 2018, I became a manager at Shriram motors, overseeing the development and launch of used car models. This position gave me an even deeper understanding of the market and consumer needs.

In 2019, recognizing the potential in the pre-owned cars market, we established the Mark4 Showroom in Calicut. This showroom was our foundation, where we built strong relationships with customers and honed our expertise in providing top-quality used cars. The success of the showroom gave us the confidence to expand our reach.

It was only after 2 year of running the showroom that we ventured into the online market.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, we noticed a shift in how people were buying cars, with more focus on online options. Seeing this change, we recognized an opportunity and established Mark4 that same year. By focusing on trust, transparency, and customer satisfaction, Mark4 quickly became the leading platform for buying second-hand cars online.

By maintaining the same quality and service as our showroom, we quickly became a trusted name in the online marketplace for Used cars.

Today, Mark4 continues to operate successfully both through our showroom and online, reflecting the hard work, growth, and strategic decisions that shaped my journey from a sales executive to the owner of a leading second-hand car platform.

By 2024, Mark4 had continued to grow and expand its presence. We opened a new showroom in Kannur and are currently working on opening another showroom in Calicut, along with plans to establish one more in Cochin soon. The focus on both physical showrooms and online services gives customers the best of both worlds—personalized service and easy online access.
